About Akani - Fun Stuff / Activities
Although it is our prime purpose to provide educational support, religious instruction and a nutritious meal it is important that we supplement this with sport, fun and activities.
Sport is controlled and organized by Bophelong Sports Club in grounds adjacent to Akani and within the Akani facility. Sports include Soccer, Hockey, Netball and Volleyball. Volunteers are also involved in teaching the children, Chess, Dancing and managing the well equipped Library.
Outside trips are arranged to the Zoo, Planetarium and Fun Walks. At Akani the children are treated to a Christmas Party, the Akani Birthday Party, Talent Competitions and Fashion Shows.
